I think  my travlin days are all but done

throw out that tattered torn up map that was mine

beat up searchin for the places I tried to find 

So you really want advice..from me

make every mile the very best that it can be

Choose your routes by mostly how they make you feel

the destination in your heart is the one that's real

LIFE IS ALL ABOUT THE MILES BETWEEN THE PLACES

I hope you’ll travel the worst roads with a friend

the kind that's always got a willin hand to lend

cuz youll meet folks who'll hitch a ride and won't pay gas

and some jump out and help you push before you even ask
